One more photo from my travels in Italy, this one along the water in Sorrento. I love the way these hotels and residences are carved into the sides of the hill, offering great views of the area.

Time to Head Off to Amalfi Coast

Today I’m headed down to the Amalfi Coast, where I’ll be staying for a week. I plan to spend some time wandering the streets and hills of Sorrento and Positano, going over to Capri, and checking out the ruins of Pompeii.
Let’s hope Mt. Vesuvius won’t be erupting while I’m there –
