I’ve recently re-discovered Moleskines.  Those lovely black leather bound books, with pages of heavy cream paper, an expandable inside pocket, a silk bookmark, all bound up with an elastic closure. 
For a writer, merely holding one of these gems in your hand is sheer delight.  Since I’m doing some writing again, I went out and purchased a couple of these for my travels. 
Now that I have them, it almost seems a shame to write in them.  But I will.
