I fancy myself a cut above average when it comes to packing a suitcase. I have my standard items that I always pack, and never unpack, and I generally pack the same kind of things in the same kind of way. I make lists, revise as necessary, and manage to take everything that I need with a little room to spare. My system keeps it all very easy.

Flight Attendant Shopping: Pocket-Sized Beach Towel

With all the emphasis on packing light, whether it’s so you can avoid checking your luggage (if you’re traveling by air) or to just have a little more room (if you’re traveling by car). here’s a handy way to pack a beach towel in very little room — the Lightload Towel.
The “towels” are compressed so that they fit into a pocket, and at about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, you can toss several inside a tote, backpack or purse. They weigh about 6 ounces, so packing several won’t take much effort or space at all.
