Ground Hog Day 2008: More Winter to Come

At sunrise this morning, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, a furry little critter by the name of Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow.
Amid much hoopla and fanfare, this proclamation was read:
As I look around me, a bright sky I see, and a shadow beside me.Six more weeks of winter it will be!
That’s right — six more weeks of winter. Thanks a lot, Phil! I’m ready for spring!
