Travel + Leisure Top 10 Cities Announced

The August edition of Travel + Leisure lists its annual World’s Best Awards, and while the list has some familiar faces, it also sports some new entries as well.

The Top 10 Best Cities in the World for 2009 are:

  1. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA         Udaipur, India (in photo)
  2. Cape Town
  3. Bangkok
  4. Buenos Aires
  5. Chiang Mai, Thailand
  6. Florence
  7. Luang Prabang, Laos
  8. New York
  9. Rome
  10. San Francisco

Top 10 Cities in the US & Canada for 2009 are:

  1. New York
  2. San Francisco
  3. Quebec City
  4. Charleston, South Carolina
  5. Santa Fe
  6. Chicago
  7. Savannah
  8. Victoria, British Columbia
  9. Montreal
  10. Seattle

The results are tabulated based on magazine readers voting on favorite hotels, cities, islands, spas, cruise lines, airlines, tour companies, and car rental agencies.  Pick up the August edition of Travel + Leisure to read the full results.

    I´m a city lover and my perfect vacation is discovering new cities. that´s why I definitely chose a “vacation for life” membership with Royal Holiday, because they have the best city destinations and hotels located right where the action is !

Si bien en 2008, en este mismo ranking había quedado en segundo lugar, conserva una muy buena posición.
