DNA T-Shirts

My sister’s in town visiting and we spent a great day in one of the main shopping areas of Central London on Regent and Oxford Streets. Although I’m sure you can find practically anything there, I didn’t see any DNA t-shirts let alone this one from DNA Worldwide that is personalized with your DNA fingerprint .
As far as I can tell, you send in a cheek swab and they’ll extract the DNA, use restriction enzymes to chop it up into pieces, and run it through gel elecrophoresis to obtain a pattern, then take a picture and stick it on your t-shirt. You can even choose the t-shirt style you like and add a slogan. They’ll also send you a printed copy of your DNA complete with code and image.
I can’t believe I haven’t a single DNA t-shirt in my wardrobe. That must be remedied soon. Perhaps I should start a collection to rival my husband’s soccer (football) jersey one.
Got any DNA t-shirts? Send me a pic of you wearing one and I’ll feature you!

I have an ESC tshirt with a sarcastic message.
But if there is anyone that has DNA tshirts, it’s my Molecular Biology Professor. She has a lot of them. Some are all coloured with dyes and stuff.
Nice tshirt suggestion.
Rick: What’s ESC? Engineering Student Council? Brownie points if you take a pic of your prof and send it to me.
