One of the world’s most prestigious science journals, Nature Genetics, now has its own blog - Free Association. Editor Alan Packer writes about what’s in store:
- Commentary on papers published in Nature Genetics or in other journals. Were particularly interested in inviting authors to follow up on points in their work that may not have found space in the formal manuscript.
- Links to and commentary on genetics (and geneticists) in the news.
- Updates on books and websites of interest to the community.
- Notes on editorial policies that may not have made it into one of journals printed editorials.
- Announcements of editors attendance at meetings, which may also generate posts to the blog.
- Round-ups of genetics coverage in the popular press and in the blogosphere (for better or worse).
The Genetics and Public Health Blog is honored to be on their blogroll.

they should be honored to be on yours
razib, Thank you so much for the kind comment. I am still a newbie compared to you guys at Gene Expression, but you’re an inspiration. It was also a memorable moment when I noticed my name on your blogroll. Thanks again!
you write good stuff lei, i don’t check your site via the blogroll, you are in my RSS
razib, Now you’ve got me blushing!
It’s nice to have more science/genetics blogs online, though. We can’t possibly cover everything all on our own.
