Personalised Medicine e-Symposium 2006

Val-Pierre Genton, Chair of the Personalised Medicine e-Symposium, emailed to let me know that the e-symposium will be live and online tomorrow, June 21, 2006. Registration is free (and it’s perfect timing for me because I am finally back on broadband!).
Given my constant jabber about the future of the genome revolution and the hope of personalized medicine, I will definitely try to “attend” this e-symposium which starts at 2 pm London time. I’m especially interested in:
- Ann Saunders’s opening talk on personalized medicine
- Larisa H. Cavallari’s talk on personalised management of cardiovascular diseases (I also write a cardiovascular disease blog)
- Michael Harvey’s talk on tools and technologies for the advancement of personalised medicine
- Theresa L. Frangiosa’s talk on the economic reality of personalised medicine
The programme is fascinating and each presentation has a 15-minute Q&A at the end with related materials available for download. Can’t wait!
NB: Sorry about alternating between British and American spellings. I’m American living in London and trying to adhere to the site’s spelling….
