Blossom blessings

Yesterday was incredibly hot and parching dry. Just a few weeks ago, we had a blizzard.
Oddly enough, even though we had a snowy long winter, it’s now scarily dry. Yesterday was record breaking hot, and dry.
Wildfires are already a problem, and a threat…. yikes.
So, this morning, when I woke up, I was delighted that we had had un-forecast rain. Hurrah!
And I was just awestruck to see the big crabapple tree in front of the studio windows. It has erupted into blossoms!
I had no idea that there were even buds on it! Wheee!
As I was taking this pic, which sadly doesn’t show the glory of the flowers (sorry!), I was really happy to see a big fat bumble bee bootling around the blossoms. We’ve now got hive collapse disorder here and it’s frightening.
Think good thoughts for those bumble bees!
and here’s to blossom blessings…..
