Well…
the guy who broke his wife’s favorite
had better have big brown eyes and
be incredibly cute…
because,
judging by the feedback that I have been hearing…
His chances of finding a Bucilla #3 hook
are VERY slim.
I’ve gone through all of my steel hooks
and there are a bunch of Boye, Susan Bates, tons of Milwards, Roma, Flora, Morral’s, JMRA’S, some with names worn off, and some that look to be cheap and cheerful new no-names.No Bucilla……
now I am intrigued…
I will be looking for Bucilla hooks from now on!
Would I let go of it if I found one?
To be perfectly honest….
probably not…….
Now, how big is that dog house he’s living in?
And
is his wife going to crochet him a blankie for it?
Woof?

I will have to look..I really MAY have one.
ANd guess what I did all day?
I spun alpaca.
I now have two beautiful balls of 2Ply bulky alpaca in natural cream..
So, Marye, what brand hooks do you have in your collection?
Any Bucilla?
aNd Yay! for the alpaca! I just spun some up and crocheted a hat with it, using this pattern:

It’s just wonderful! Soooooooo warm and cozy!
everything you can think of…checking for bucilla. Many were my moms from pre WWII
Oho! someone just sent me a note saying that there is a Bucilla #3 hook for sale on eBay. So, they DO exist!
