The Arts and Design Channel of b5 is having an artist’s showcase this month, and the theme is:
Christmas in July…… and Tammy is hosting. I’ll link to the special post on her site once it’s up.
I thought about Christmas in July, and decided that giving an early Christmas present would be a very good idea.
So, I decided I would offer a contest for people to win themselves a Christmas in July Doll….
Here she is:
The Button-Joint Fairy Doll from my book: Creative Crocheted Dolls, published by Krause Books.
The rules?
I will draw the winning entry on July 31, 2007.
1: The winner of the doll will pay postage to have her shipped to them. I punched in some sample locations to the Canada Post website and discovered that she’ll probably cost about $10 for postage. If you are willing to pay the postage, then feel free to enter the contest. (paypal)
2: How to enter? Leave a comment on this entry, with your email addy and name (your email addy is never posted).
3: Can you enter more than once? Of course. Every time you enter, I’ll put your name on a piece of paper and put it in a bowl. I’ll have a friend or relation pull the winning entry out of the bowl on July 31, 2007 at 12 pm Mountain time, and I’ll get in touch with you by email (and post the winner’s name) on this blog.
Good luck!
and hugs all round
Noreen

Noreen,
the dolls are wonderful, you are so talented.
I know of a perfect glass case to put the doll in, same kind of cases used for Japanese dolls.
Set on top of an oak bookcase. Or inside the glass portion of bookcase. Hmmm.
Anyway, you do nice work, wish I could make dolls like that.
thanks for the chance to win this doll
