Christmas traditions- Our Village

One of my most favorite traditions is setting up our Christmas village.

Over the years, we have collected and made all kinds of little houses, churches, angels, snowfolk, people, penguins, gnomes,  helipcopters  (okay just one helicopter).  ( Well, 2, but the other one is next to the creche). (ahem. Somebody watched Mr Bean’s Christmas special too many times)

And, every year, putting out the village is always a special event. I love it dearly.
We’ve been so busy that we haven’t had time to get our big tree set up, so I put the Snowman hook from the contest

in the village Christmas tree. (I put a note on the pic above) and here’s a close up:

He’s right at home with all the other Snowfolk and gnomes and elves and penguins and assorted villagers.
