I am grateful for the 15 years I had with my dear husband. I miss him greatly and always will, but the love he brought to my life is priceless and I wouldn’t have missed his presence in my life for anything. I’m grateful to feel his love around me always. I’m also grateful for my son and the joy he brings to my life.

I am thankful for crafters like you that are full of love for others. Your gratitude doll is beautiful. Until I came across your blog, I did not realize that you could make dolls and animals with spool knitting. The internet is a wonderful place full of ideas and talented crafters. I am grateful for my family, my friends and the kindness of strangers. And most of all I am grateful for the journey.

I have a lot to be thankful for….a wonderful family, and my daughter is going to have a baby. We live in a wonderful country and in a beautiful part of that country. I am grateful that I can “operate outside of the lines” to do my spinning and knitting.

I am thankful to be alive in the 21st century.

Sunday is one of the landmark birthdays for me and I need to be on oxygen 24/7. One hundred years ago I would not have been able to celebrate my birthday with my 1st grandson. I would not have been so entertained with the internet, art, movies, books, friends and even a nice little car to travel safely. I would not have had email, shared ideas and fun with interesting people around the world.

Life still might not be all comfort, but I am very thankful for the opportunities AND the HOPE the 21 century offers all of us!
