Hankering for Yarn

Creative Clutter Busting Book Contest

Ohhhhhhh, I am probably going to regret posting this photo…. but I’ll go ahead anyhow…. and blush….

messy-studio-1This ……….

is a shot of my studio, taken from my computer desk,

looking across at  my design desks.

They are totally out of control right now.

I have just finished launching 2 self published books,

Rosie Recycle Dolls and Spooligarumi,

and am going like blazes on the next one……

as well as getting up to speed with Hankering for Yarn.

Because I have so many balls up in the air, things have just heaped up to the point of- ‘aaaaaaggggghhhhhhhh’

here in the studio….

So, when I read about Diane Dobson-Barton’s new book: Creative Clutter Control, I thought… oh yes!

Diane Dobson-Barton is an artist, so she knows the creative personality from the inside out!

Creative Clutter Control is written with humor and insight and is really well thought out.

I highly recommend it! And am going to work with many of her suggestions.

Now, you already know that Diane has kindly offered a copy of Creative Clutter Control as a prize – you saw the title to this entry!

How to win?

Leave an entry, and post a comment about your Creative Clutter !

The contest starts now and runs until March 22.

Who can enter? Anyone, anywhere.

Good luck!

Now… to deal with some of this clutter….

I am running out of places to put my creative clutter. I always tell my husband it is for next Christmas but I think he is beginning to get suspicious.

  5. christopher h says:

    would love to win this

  6. Rose Fisher says:

This is one book that I could definitely use. Even my mother would tell you! Thanks for the chance! I need all the organizing help I can get!

  7. Jesselyn says:

This book was surely written with folks like me in mind. I am a creative type (some would say too creative, with too many interests…) PLUS both my husband and me are natural born, life-long pack-rats!

Clutter has always been a problem for us – but lately since we are both working at home more – our barely manageable clutter has becopme like a tsunami, engulfing us to the point of desperation and near paralysis.

If we could look at getting control over the clutter as a CREATIVE PROJECT – that might be just the catalyst we need to reclaim our home and our lives!

  8. susan says:

this would be cool to win!

  9. Lisa says:

I could SERIOUSLY use this book – I have yarn, sewing stuff, music stuff, books, etc. everywhere. I start trying to organize and finally give up and everything is almost back like it was. My problem is I try to clean and organize everything at once – a creative perfectionist, I am…I promise I wouldn’t love the book though! LOL

  10. Lisa says:

I promise I wouldn’t ‘LOSE’ the book ha ha – I would definitely LOVE the book – see how disorganized even my mind is? Thanks!

  11. Gianna says:

My clutter is all over my computer counter.. it must be my creativity :)

  12. Tracy says:

Good to know there are others like me out there and good to know there’s a solution.

  13. Cassie M says:

My clutter is my bedroom. I throw my clean clothes in my beanbag chair and forget to fold them, and my dirty laundry ends up on the floor instead of in the laundry basket. My jewelry is thrown anywhere across my dresser, and I lose many pieces because of this.

  15. Kathy S says:

My creative clutter consists of two bookshelves (mostly disorganized) filled with cookbooks and knitting books, and my floor has stacks of decorating magazines (which of course hinders any options I may have of decorating at all!)

  16. Suanne Giddings says:

I must be extremely creative, because my clutter has taken over my life! I am so afraid Oprah’s team is going to ring my doorbell!!! Thank you so very much for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

  17. Donna K says:

I need to be less creative or control my clutter.

  18. Betty C says:

I have more fabric than I can turn into quilts in the next 5 years. I have storage bins filled with yarn, paints for stained glass painting and tons of other miscellaneous “creative” junk. I need help.

  19. Lily Kwan says:

My clutter is creative because I say it is. ;0P
