Hi Gina
Yes, crochet is wonderfully easy to frog. :o)

The background is definitely going to be more subtle :o)

And, I've designed a new butterfly for the shawl.... I am really pleased with it.

I'll be posting pics of the background once I've got more of it done.

At least the frogging is the crochet part and that can be ripped out quickly. I'm anxious to see what you've come up with now. I agree the tatting got lost in the background when it was the same color. I couldn't see enough of the black/red to get a feeling for how they contrasted but it did seem a little strong. Going for something more subtle?

Hi Carolee
Yep, it was quite the storm. I kept thinking: Okay... the highrises will attract any lightening, right?
LOL!

I am raising my eyebrow at the shawl at this point, and wondering if it's really worth the trouble to make it.... when I could be working on other designs. And, meeting deadlines!

Hope you find your missing dolls! I haven't kept most of my childhood dolls.... but I am happy to have the few I do have.

WOW those skys were super scary!! glad no damage to you. I dont have the dilagance you do to ripp and ripp. but you have to have it right to teach a class. to be honest I dont like the monsters from Lion brand just kinda odd. (I dont like clown dolls either.) they would be something fun and easy for beginners to try out tho. Thanks for the note on barbie, I got some knit and crochet for barbie books and like them there quick and I can get something DONE!! I had my aunt and mine and sisters Barbies or so I thought!!!!! OMG I cant find them, I have only told My hubby. I thought I new right where they were and there not!! I had a Midge!!!! and knitted cloths my G-ma made for them. did they leave? maybe they didnt like the shoe box home I had them in for sooo many years?? I had to go to Target and buy a barbie so I would have a model for the little outfits. Lets hope as I unpack they will show up. or come back from the barbie twilight zone. look forward to seeing more of the shawl.
