Cross Currents Vest Workshop

I am working on several new vests as inspiration for the Cross Currents Vest workshop that I am teaching at the Knit and Crochet Show this summer.
See: Workshops
I’ll have lots of wild and wonderful vests there, showing how you can pull together all kinds of techniques to create one of a kind, amazing and fab vests that fit perfectly.
You’ll learn how to crochet freeform lace….. awesome! (and easy!)

This one combines yo-yo circles, spoolknitting and crochet.
This one combines narrow woven bands (I’ll have narrow looms there so people can whip up bands for their vests), crocheted flat dolls and the crocheted lover’s knot (I’m in love with the Lover’s Knot and am teaching a workshop in it)
The trick with making the Cross Currents vests is to make a template…..
and ‘build your vest’ on it. Sounds hard? Nah! Not when you know the secret of how to do it. That’s why you take the workshop from me! LOL! Because I have spent years figuring this stuff out!
By the way, since we’ll be using spoolknitted cords in the vests, each of the workshop participants will be receiving one of my handmade ‘imagination/inspiration’ spoolknitters (aka Knitting Nancy or Knitting Nancie) as a part of the workshop.
It’s a really fun workshop! Hope you’ll be able to join me there! Knit and Crochet Show
