		<description>I do love my Pom Pom maker, but I must say, the most exciting thing I learned in the last few months is how to knit a scarf on my fingers.  One method used my four fingers and thumb as a &quot;knitter&quot;, which produced a large long &quot;cord&quot; like shape.  I made three of these and &quot;plaited&quot; them for a scarf for my daughter and added large pom poms to each end.

The second method involved using the entire palm of my hand for each stitch, making huge large knitted stitches with several strands of big lumpy wool.  Amazing fun !
