I love buttons. Mary Emma
and I have been posting lately about buttons and different ways of using them.
Last year, I wrote about my love of buttons .
I’ve been using a lot of buttons lately
for embellishment. This is a bag that I am taking to the Knit and Crochet Show next week…. so much fun!
And, as well as wearing my heart on my sleeve, I’ll be wearing buttons, too….
These are vintage buttons from Mum and Grandmuddy’s button jar. Treasures….
and here’s how the flower face got set into the sleeve:
I love inviting workshop participants to think both inside and outside the box. So, this sleeve is part of a piece that is an ‘inspiration’ piece for all 4 of the workshops that I am teaching. (and I am going to be wearing it in the fashion show, too)
eegads, I have so much to get done this week, and wouldn’t you know it? I have LOST the cuff to a sleeve I am working on. EEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Says a lot about the chaos in my studio……………
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
hugs all round
