Last winter, Caron Yarns commissioned me to design a crocheted piece that can be used as a wall hanging, a lapghan or a throw.
Here’s the link for the pattern for the Crocheted Halloween goodie: Boo!
Enjoy!

Hi Noreen,
The Halloween Afghan is magnificent, the picture is fabulous but I know the real thing is a TREAT to look at.
Always,
Mary
Do you have any tricks on how to keep that yard you have hanging off the back from tangling? I’m going to make one of those.
Thank you so much, Mary! You’re right about photos never showing the ‘real’ quality of the piece!

Hi Sandi
) Hope this helps!
What I do is to have the two main colors sitting on either side of my legs. With the minor colors, I cut lengths of yarn that are a few yard/meters long and work with those. You crochet over the ends to hide the ends. Having shorter lengths of yarn is a sanity saver.

thanks so much, Mary!

Sadly, I won’t be able to look at the Halloween wall hanging/afghan in real life again, as I didn’t receive it back. Such is the life of a designer….
