I would bring the cap to my personal physician… he is the immediate past President of the American Cancer Society… the 1st family physician to have that title! He spends part of every day visiting various cancer treatment centers in our area and often takes donations of prayer shawls, lapghans, and chemo caps with him to give to the patients during his visits…he’s an amazing guy who is really passionate about good/compassionate care for cancer patients & support for their caregivers. I only wish I would have known him back when I lost my own mother & mother-in-law to the scourge of breast cancer…
Beaumont military hospital is a large hospital for soldiers and their family and veterans and their dependents. There is a need for chemo caps there. I would make a chemo cap for Beaumont cancer unit and I would ask my crocheting friends to do the same.
I will donate mine to Princess Margaret Hospital here in our city.
I would donate it to the women’s shelter.
