Hankering for Yarn

Knitting bags-8

At the end of my last post,  I ran screaming from the studio.

Well, after a too brief’s night’s sleep, I jumped out of bed, and tore out all the misbegotten seams

I didn’t even make myself a cup of tea or have breakfast….

I think that was my first mistake……..

Okay…. so I figured……. I’ll clamp this beast together

and pin everything and it’ll all be just ticketyboo….

so I clamped and pinned and snipped and marked and

everything was fine, until I took it off the frame and  pulled out a few pins and started sewing……

and then the whole thing went haywire………..

Like I said last night:

aGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Just a simple little bag, right? Wrong…. it’s got channels and flaps and it’s driving me crazy.

But still – it’s NOT complicated enough to be driving me this insane.

It just isn’t.

Yes it is.

The woodworking part was just blissful but this part stinkssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I am going to go have tea and breakfast and a shower and tackle a very full day.

This evening, I am  going to do what I should have done in the first place, and make paper templates.

Then I’ll  re-cut the fabric sections and start all over again.

But until then:

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
