Well, I knew it would happen.
I just don’t seem to be able to ever make Just One of anything.
I made one Mardi Gras mask :
and was thinking the whole time:
Ooooooooooh I need to do this all in white…….
Oooooooooooooh I love the spool knitting……….
Ooooooooh I love the Lover’s knot…………
Ooooooooooh I need to put buttons on it ………….
So, even though I was supposed to be working on other things…… ahem……….
I blame Mardi Gras…….

Oh, it’s just gorgeous! I would feel like a moonchild wearing it, all magical with moonbeams falling all around me. You simply amaze me Noreenie!
Sigh…
Someone once gave me a mask about that shape with elastic that went around the head to hold it on but it was ALL FEATHERS!!! And very dramatic looking, a little spooky really! But YOURS are just so lovely. I’m such a COLOR person, normally I would never like something all white better than the first one, but this is just very very special….
So what are you making next, oh great Magic Maker?
Hugs to you sweetie pea,

Thank you so much, Maitri!
It’s very moonchild, as the central piece is abalone shell, and there are shell buttons on it…. so I think you really hit the nail on the head with that description!
What’s next? Omigosh…. a heap of things! All manner of which are elbowing each other to rise to the surface, saying: Me first, me first…. LOL!
The blue one is very pretty but the white mask is just stunning. You need to add this to the list of classes you teach!
That’s a great idea, Wendy! Actually, as I have been working on it, I have been thinking that this would make a great workshop!
Hi Noreen,
Your new idea & imagination always inspired me.
Both mask are fabulous.
