More ’skullie’ spoolies and crochet hooks…

My friend, Regina, is a gifted designer who loves working with skull imagery. She’s got a whole set of skullies heading from my studio to hers
Last week, I posted pics of skullies that I had just sculpted, and Regina said…….works for me…..
But – the spoolie was too ‘prototypical’ to let out of the studio.
(In other words: It wasn’t good enough! LOL!) The hook’s good, so it does go to Regina!
I got Jim spinning away at the lathe, and he came up with a fabulous set of new little spoolies…. more about them later,
as well as the Mighty Mamma skullie that Regina wanted.
Here’s her new Mighty Mamma…. it’s irridescent, and there are layers and layers of paint that just don’t show up in the pic. phoo.
It’s big: 6 inches tall and almost 6 inches in diameter.
and here’s her small skullie spoolie:
Now, here’s the NEAT part: As I was playing with the prototype skulliespoolie, I went: WOWSA! It’s a puppet, too!
I started pulling at Jim’s shirt, begging: Please, MisterLathemeister, please please please…. turn me more of theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!
The ring sitting on the top of the spoolie puppet is just me puttzing.
I cut the tip of the index finger off on one of those cheap little gloves, and stuffed the ring and little fingers inside. VOILA! Instant puppet.
Hey, Regina! Hope you like your new skulliespoolies!

I am IN LOVE with them!!!!
Yay! and they are soooooooooooo much better than in the pics. The pics just don’t give them their full impact!
Hope you’ll enjoy them!
