New crochet hook-Daisy in the Snow

Last summer, I carved this crochet hook:
What with one thing and another, she got set aside and I didn’t finish her. But, all the positive response to the Snowman Crochet hook contest
has made me go – Yes! finish this hook!
I got her out and finished sanding and filing and did a little more carving on her. I was feeling baffled about what colors to paint her when Jim walked by and said:
“Oh, nice daisy!”
DAISY! Yes!
So, I got out the paints and painted her up, and here she is:
A Daisy in the snow:
She’s an ‘L’ hook (approx. 8 mm) and is about 6 1/2 inches long.
In the deep midwinter, we need all the flowers we can get, even if they have to be carved from wood!

Your creativity brings a smile to a lot of faces.
Really cute.
What an adorable hook!
Thank you so much! She’s actually MUCH cuter than her picture!
