Hello Terri
I learned about Mola or San Blas applique from McCalls Needlework and crafts when I was a kidlet. long ago and far away! LOL! It’s a gorgeous, and very time consuming technique.

I love the way it looks with the Saori weaving! I have an offcut of weaving that has been hanging around the studio for ages, and I think that this may be a good way to use it. Although…. a pocket would be great, too…..

Thanks Noreen – interesting to know that there is a name for it – other than a ‘Saori T-shirt’. Yes, it is a great way to use up bits and pieces of weaving, but also a great project for kids – as are the woven pockets on the dragonfly shirt.
