Yep, I do indeed know about hoare frost, and it's beautiful, and I love it when we get it here. But, somehow, I just kind of go - erp - when I say," I love my Lady Hoare tatting shuttles' and the other person's head does a quick 'Linda Blair'. "You love your WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" ROTFLOL!~ So, I fake it and say: "I love love love my Lady HARR tatting shuttles". After all, English pronunciation is full of oddly swallowed consonants and vowels. Yep, I do indeed know about hoare frost, and it’s beautiful, and I love it when we get it here.

But, somehow, I just kind of go – erp – when I say,”
I love my Lady Hoare tatting shuttles’

So, I fake it and say: “I love love love my Lady HARR tatting shuttles”.

After all, English pronunciation is full of oddly swallowed consonants and vowels. So, I shall continue to enjoy hoare frost in February and Lady Harr all year round!

You crack me up about the pronunciation...haven't you ever heard of "hoare frost" in the bible or in poetry...they pronounce it the good old fashioned way...you know, like the prostitute...or you could just call her lady ho...LOL! Just kidding you. Enjoy your lovely shuttle. It's a lovely way to recycle the wood and keep the sentimentality associated with it alive. LOL.
