Spool knitted Cupcake Fairy Doll

So, I had planned a whole series of entries, and had even got the pictures photoshopped and everything!
BUT
I just had to nip over to read one of my favorite blogs:
And, OH NO! Jennifer at Offbeat Homes had just posted a wonderful list of fabulous things, and had discovered the cutest cupcakes for yarnophiles.
She thought that I might just like them….
Well, I had to crack up! Did I like them? OH YES!
and talk about synchronicity!
Forget about the entry I had planned!
For a couple of months, I have been playing with the idea of spool knitted cupcakes.
So…..I made a Cordelia cordmaker that is a cupcake:
and, I have been doing drawings and sketches of spool knitted Cupcake Fairies, BUT, just haven’t hit the mark with them.
Hmmmmm, somehow, making these Christmas Dollies: (I’ve made a series of them but haven’t photographed them all) has really inspired me.
and having Jennifer and Christina say:

Click click click! I got all inspired and the wheels turned, and started playing with a new version of the spool knitted Cupcake Fairy!

Well, I’m glad you got your ideas all together — I’m not sure what a cordelia cordmaker is; but I think the cupcake is cute. Also, no clue what spool knitted means but I do like fairies and cupcakes both so together is really good. In fact, I wish I had a cupcake fairy. That would take care of my 3am office snacks
