Hankering for Yarn

Sunday brunch

Jim’s trio was booked to play at the bistro this morning, but the violin player couldn’t make it. So, it was Jim’s duo! They were great, as always… and did I take my camera? no…

But, Jim had his and from the stage, clicked a quick pic at the end of the last set:

There was serious stitcheroo happening at the table all morning… Alli was knitting up a storm, then crocheting, Chloe was stitching yo-yo’s and I was spool knitting like mad. All the while, visiting, laughing and enjoying one another’s company.

What you can’t see in the picture is the mountain of bags full of projects, sitting by our feet. We had just scooped all the yarn and acoutrements up and were getting ready to head out. What a lovely time!

Great music, great friends who happen to be family, great blessings! I am soooooooooo lucky.

hugs all round
