I’ve been thinking a lot about baby caps because of the cap I designed for Knit One Save One

Here’s the link for the Earflap Baby cap for Save the Children
And it struck me that the cap and sweater that I designed for Caron Yarns would probably be a good thing to make for charities of all descriptions, too…..

And, yes, even though the pics don’t show it that clearly, those are indeed, little people of the world on there.

The Knit and Crochet Show in Portland Sept 08 – 6- Baby Caps

One of the things that I love so much about going to conferences is the serendipity factor.
You know that you are going to meet great people and get inspired in unusual ways.
For me, it was meeting the 2 lovely women who were running the Save the Children booth.
It is a natural for them to be at a knitting and crochet convention, as they are working on the
KNIT ONE, SAVE ONE campaign to save millions of babies.
