It’s been awhile since I had a contest on hankering for yarn!

Even though it’s suddenly winter again where I live, I figure that we ought to be celebrating BUTTERFLIES!

August Contest- Copper Celtic Interlace Butterfly Shawl Pin

Note: THIS contest finished on the 15th of August….
the butterfly pin has been awarded……… but more contests will be unfolding, so do keep checking for them!

And since Jim and I are in the process of radically downsizing in preparation for a whale of a move…..

I decided to have another celebratory contest.

This time, the contest WAS to win

The Celtic interlace butterfly shawl pin that I designed and made for my book: Creative Crocheted Dolls. The wings are copper backed with wood and the body is crocheted. Because it is so big,(it’s 7 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches tall) there is a pin on the back of each wing.

The Celtic Interlace Butterfly contest ended on the 15th of August 2007 and the winner was Susan Johnson. Thank you so much to everyone who entered!
