This just arrived in my mailbox from Jennifer Marsh (remember her? She’s the one who got people working together to cover derelict gas stations):
Hello All,
Jennifer is very pleased to announce the next project at hand for the 2008-2009 year for the International Fiber Collective. The title of this sculpture is called Interdependence. Ming Yi Sung is a fiber artist who has a wonderfully offbeat sense of humor. She did a very whimsical outdoor crocheted sculpture of a life size woman engaged in a mealtime battle with a reluctant chicken.
She posted a series of photographs of the installation and unveiling of the piece, and then…. oh no!
