Blossom blessings

Yesterday was incredibly hot and parching dry.  Just a few weeks ago, we had a blizzard.
Oddly enough, even though we had a snowy long winter, it’s now scarily dry. Yesterday was record breaking hot, and dry.
Wildfires are already a problem, and a threat…. yikes.
So, this morning, when I woke up, I was delighted that we had had un-forecast rain. Hurrah!
And I was just awestruck to see the big crabapple tree in front of the studio windows. It has erupted into blossoms!
I had no idea that there were even buds on it! Wheee!

OH!!!!! I am just delighted! After reading my posting about Hinka Osinga’s spectacular crocheted model based on the mathematics of the Butterfly Effect,  Kristi found the actual pattern for it!
I’ll never have time to do it, but I love it that now I COULD!
