When I was in Portland OR, my friend Jorel found a fantastic craft market.
She discovered a booth where a terrific designer sells re-fashioned skirts that are just too wonderful for words.
Lizzy Originals of ShabbyKnapsack.com takes clothing that can no longer be worn, washes it, cuts it up and creates skirts to die for.
Did I buy one? oh, yes, you betcha! I loooooooooooooooooooooooove it!

Vintage lace collar or worthless scrap?

My sisters-in-law and I absolutely love going to second hand stores.
A couple of weeks ago, we were in one of our favorites, when Sis spotted this old old crocheted piece in the back of a drawer:
She held it up to me and we both fell in love with it.
She asked the lady how much it was, and the lady tossed her wrist and went,
‘Oh, phfft, it’s free…. it’s worthless….. there’s a hole in the middle!’
