The Fashion Show at the Knit and Crochet Show

I was just delighted to meet up with one of my email friends, Pirkko, at the Knit and Crochet Show.
Pirkko and I have been email buddies for years, and it was such a treat to meet her. And, my camera was not functioning (dead batteries, phoo), so I don’t have a pic of us together yet…
Pirkko took some really fun pics of the Fashion Show (I couldn’t because I was modelling). I am so pleased that she got a pic of Vashti Braha in the fashion show.
Vashti was trying to get a pair of rescued sleeves turned into pants but ran out of time, and ended up wearing them as oh so sexy ‘chaps’. It was fabulous, and people screamed and cheered her on. One of those high points that people will remember fondly for years………. there’s always a moment that catches people’s hearts, and definitely, Vashti stole the show.
Mary Beth Temple’s daughter and Crochet Dee’s daughter were a close second as they modelled wonderful things their moms had made for them. They did a spectacular job!
The fashion show was more fun than could possibly be legal…. ahhhhhhhhhh
hugs all round

Thanks Noreen for the post! We couldn’t have done the fashion show without you – poor Noreen – everytime she thought she was finished modeling I made her go back out there with something else!
Sounds like so much fun, total team work to pull the fashion show off!!! Love your photos and stories!
Thanks so much, Mary Beth! I was impressed at the smooth flow of the fashion show from the ‘other side of the curtain’. Whoddathunkkit that mayhem was bubbling ‘behind the curtain’? ROTFLOL!
You did a great job at cracking the whip! Mary Beth the whipmeister! It’s good to be tall!
There were some fabulous pieces in that show!
thanks again! I loved it!
Oh Pam! It was wonderful! Mary Beth and Debbie and Judy and darnnit I forget their names! worked together to create a smooth flow that was fantastic.
A lot of people put in a ton of work to make it so good! Bravo!
