Recycle that needlework magazine maybe not!

I am a huge fan of living green, and reducing, re-using, recycling, reclaiming, repairing and upcycling.
BUT! There is one leetle bit of living green that I am going to ask people to re-consider.
Let me back up for a moment.
A few weeks ago,
when I was in the
local library,
I saw a table of
discontinued books
for sale.
There was also a
‘free’ box.
There was a bunch of stuff
that didn’t speak to me at all,
but, this magazine was in the box
and fairly flew into my arms!

New Vogue Knitting is out
I received my latest Vogue Knitting last week. Lots of cold weather-friendly projects in there. Here’s a few highlights for your enjoyment…
Do you have favorite magazines? I like Vogue for inspiration, but for classic patterns that last beyond the season, I tend to favor Interweave Knits.
However, I love the articles in VK and as an inspiration source, it’s great. If you’ve already received this issue, tell me what you think!

So many projects, so little time

Like a lot of knitters out there, I have more projects I want to knit than I have time (or fingers) for. The Internet has not helped in that regard at all — there was a time when books and magazines were your main pattern sources, but now, with the wide availability of so many new patterns coming out all the time, many of them online and so many free (!), it’s just difficult to keep up.

Do you Twist?
In case you missed it, Twist Collective is one of the newest online knitting magazines. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do. They feature some amazing patterns from designers you’ve probably already heard of as well as informative articles. The latest issue has some perfect projects for this time of year.
