Watching paint dry

I am painting my studio.
Painting the studio= chaos.
Painting the studio= take everything apart, move it all over the house, never find it again , put it in very good places (keep fingers crossed)
Painting the studio= wash the walls, rinse the walls; fill 9 million holes, sand 9 million holes, step back, fall over dog who is wondering where his bed went?
Painting the studio = a pain in the is a VERY good thing to do….
I was moaning about it on one of my fave yahoo lists, and a dear email buddy cracked up about me watching paint dry.
I was inspired to take a picture of the paint drying (by the way, I LOVE the new color, which is actually robin’s egg blue, not strange grey as in the pic), and quite liked the way the shadow played on the wall. (As well as being a designer, I am a professional puppeteer, and love doing shadow puppets).
So, Helen, m’dear, this pic’s for you…. I think I may use it as my new bio pic….
hugs all round

Very artistic work! Sell it for a million dollars! Ha Ha!
Don’t you ever just sit and stupidly stare?
I can’t imagine Noreenie just sitting and staring. She might appear to be sitting and staring, but really, she is thinking up 52billion things to be doing NEXT.
Watching paint dry made me smile. Thank you!!!
Hugs,
Alissa
LOL! Thank you Marian!
And nope, Sandi, I don’t ever just sit and stare… probably should!
Thanks Alissa! And, you got it….. I am always hatching up a million or two ideas for this that and the other thing!
Gotta say that I will be mighty pleased when I am ~finally~ finished painting the studio………
oh my……….
