When your best friend visits

When your best friend (who moved away a few years ago) comes for a visit…..
you can guarantee:
Lots of laughter
Lots of hugs
A little goofy singing
and a happy dance or two
Some ‘how does this work’?
and some ‘oooh ooooh lookit what I made!’
Some ‘whaddja do then’?
Lots of talk about weaving, and looms, and teaching workshops, and writing, and designing,
and creating sustainable lives and community…..
Lots of tea
and a cookie or ten
and then…..
Lots of tears when it’s time to say good bye……
and of course, a picture or two……
Friends.

the more I appreciate
the power of enduring friendship.
Oh what a wonderful day! Thank you so much Noreen … it is always so inspiring to visit and see your studio and the many works you have done and those in progress….
And then of course just to spend some time with you – to laugh, to sing, to enjoy your company, share thoughts and ideas ….. and yes, tears too.
