Hankering for Yarn

Woven mixed media dolls – 2

In my last posting, I showed pictures of my woven mixed media dolls, Neni and Homage to Dame Julian of Norwich.

These dolls are more whimsical:

I spun the yarn and then wove them on potholder looms and combined them will all kinds of mixed media: Leather, wood, stones, metal, wire, buttons and more….

Some of my readers are on dial up so they’ve asked me to not put toooooooooo many pix in each entry.

These are so cute! I love the girls sitting in their little chairs.

I also love your term “yes-ness” to describe when you know something is just right. I have a real problem with that and tend to overwork things.

    Thanks so much, Eileen.
The tendency to overwork a piece is something many of us suffer from! It’s truly a challenge to release a piece at the right time, isn’t it?
