Oh stress, you suck my life away just… so.

Let me count the ways:

  1. You up my insulin resistance
  2. You raise my LDL levels of blood cholesterol (the bad stuff)
  3. You increase my blood platelet aggregation
  4. You increase my salt retention
  5. You up my cortisol output
  6. You increase nutrient excretion while decreasing nutrient absorption
  7. You lower my available oxygen supply
  8. You decrease my growth hormone production
  9. You lessen my kidney function
  10. And you mess with my lower esophageal sphincter function (gastric reflux/heartburn)

Don’t let this list stress you out. By far, the quickest way to break your body of this vicious crap is to have a laugh. (Or get a massage or grab some fresh air.) Time for you is important! For there won’t be any time for you at all, because you’ll be pushing up daisies.
