Obesity Map Screenie

CDC + MSN = BYOF(at)

This is a pretty cool little animation that MSN posted earlier today, and it kicks off their 4 part series, Fighting the Obesity Epidemic.

One thing to consider that was pointed out by a helpful Boing Boing reader:

Boing Boing-
Jim sez, “One interesting feature of the CDC obesity data is that it’s based on people’s self-reported height and weight collected through telephone surveys, rather than being based on actual measurements of patients reported by doctors and physicians.”

Check it out after the jump!
