Breast Implant Stops Shrapnel, Saves Life

One week ago today, a 24-year-old Israeli woman was saved from a Hizbolla rocket attack by her breast implant. Doctors removed shrapnel that had been stopped inside the implant just inches from her heart. She has been released from the hospital.

There’s an awesome joke in there somewhere, but thinking about all the civilians who’re dying/have died/will die in the Middle East is sucking the funny right out of me. Oh, well, it’s an interesting story anyway. I’ll leave it alone.
