Healthbolt

Dance Like No One is Watching.

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to ‘dance like no one is watching’.

Turns out it’s not such a bad idea. Dancing, it seems, has many health benefits. Besides the obvious – it is exercise and therefore should help you keep fit – dancing is also good for lowering the risk of dementia, helping those with depression, and improving balance for those with Parkinsons.

So I’m going to make good my resolution and ‘dance like no one is watching’. And for inspiration, I’ll follow the lead of Matt Harding, better known for his video ‘Where the Hell is Matt?’. He doesn’t care whether anyone is watching or not. He just keeps on dancing his way around the world. And it looks like fun…

    ha- i love that guy.

CONFESSION TIME: i hate cleaning the house, so sometimes i turn my ipod the whole way up, and clean and dance like a maniac. works up a good sweat, gets the chores done, and automatically puts me in a better mood.

im still paranoid someone is going to catch me one day, though.

I’d bet my paycheck that Matt has a waiting list of ladies waiting to occupy his rack, and that his jealous roommate has an empty dance card.

I danced at the convenience-store counter yesterday morning when I purchased the paper and discovered that a certain tyrant-in-training was defeated at the polls.

Just don’t dance on the treadmill–too easy to slip and fall…btdt…

Kelly, you almost make house cleaning sound fun!!

Random Access – so true about dancing on the treadmill….a definite no go!!!
