Easy health Tip #16: Check Out Your Pee

Urine

Once you’re in the restroom, look down every once in a while. What do you see? If you’re drinking enough water (64 oz. daily) your urine should be colorless and odorless.

There are a few exceptions. Right after you wake up, your urine will be slightly darker than normal. Your kidneys concentrate the urine in your bladder while you sleep, so that you don’t wet your bed or have to get up every few hours to pee. Within minutes of eating asparagus, you may notice that your urine smells funny. This is normal and harmless. And barring urinary tract problems your pee should be clear and odorless.

If it’s not, then drink up!

Nice picture. If I haven’t already, remind me to tell my pee in a bottle story.
