Laughing out loud does a lot of good for your body. A few of the benefits of a laughing fit are as follows:
- Lowers blood pressure
- Increases T-cells (boost your immune system)
- Increases blood oxygen levels
- Increases blood flow to your muscles
- Decreases stress hormones
No matter who you are, you’ve been in situations in the past that have made you laugh. Try to recreate those situations, whether it’s a sitcom you like or a live comedy show you saw. Find something that reliably makes you laugh (like standing outside a Starbucks and watching people pay $5 for coffee), and try and make it a part of your everyday life.
