This pic is from a “pharmacy” (which looks to be street-side on the ground) in Xinjiang.

You can find a higher quality shot (this was cropped and compressed for your quick-loading pleasure) and more pics from travels abroad in themexican’s photostream after the jump.
Take two falcon’s and call me in the morning…

UPDATE:
This post got Boing Boing-ed. The photographer responded there with this comment:
Reader comment: Raul Gutierrez (the photographer) says:
If you liked my photo of the Xinjiang medicine man’s stand you linked on boing boing today, you might also also dig this one and this one. I have a terrible image somewhere (not online) of a chinese [medicine] man in Xining with a stand full of bear and tiger feet.
Thanks Raul!

I took this picture while in Beijing in january ‘05:

(take off the _med for the higher res version)
The guy didn’t want me to take a picture (something about pictures stealing the power from his stuff), so I kinda had to stand across the street and use zoom, which is the reason for the poor angle.
Ooo, that’s a good one. Thanks. What a culture clash.
Check out the handsaw next to all of the body parts……awesome photo!
