Health & Fitness Blogs On the Map.

Looking for some new health and fitness blogs to read or prehaps searching for some old favorites like, say, Healthbolt?
Then check out this neat Health and Fitness Blog map created by Mike from Beach Fitness.
You can’t see the names of the blogs here as I had to reduce the size to get the map to fit.
But if you click here, you’ll end up at the full screen, readable version of the map. It’s worth it. The map is a great resource and has introduced me to a number of health and fitness blogs I might never have found.
One thing though. I’m thinking that the physical location of the blogs might be a little out of sync. After all, I write the Healthbolt blog from New Zealand and the b5Media network who owns the blog is in Canada, but on this map we are located somewhere near maybe Iceland – can you see us on the map? And Cranky Fitness is way over in the Far East, which, I’m think (though I could be wrong) might be where they really are. So don’t assume that where you find the blog on the map is where that blog is from.

i think they are color-coded based on their topic (see the colors at the bottom). i dont know what its a map then, though.
anyway- great blogs! thanks for posting this!

It’s always cool finding new blogs to read, thanks!
(Did Crabby move to Outer Mongolia when I wasn’t looking?)
Interesting way to arrange things! (And thanks, Kelly, for explaining how Cranky Fitness ended up in the far East as there were not any midnight moves to Mongolia!) I’m just happy to discover we’re on the map at all.
Thanks Liz, for finding this. More new blogs to check out!
Very interesting arrangement of the map. Great blog. Thanks for the info.
Yeah, up near Alaska or the left coast of Canada…when in reality I’m in NC, USA. I’m sure there is a method to Mike’s Madness. Either way, it’s appreciated. He added my MMA blog to one of his lists as well, so he’s pretty cool in my book.
This is a very interesting post, Very informative.
Where can I get the Ztrainer 6 week sports walking program?
Thanks, Kelly, for helping us decipher the maps structure. Don’t know why I couldn’t see the color-code thing myself. But since you mentioned it, it’s so logical. Still, it’s fun to think that Cranky Fitness is somewhere in Outer Mongolia.
Either way you look at it, it’s a great resource for health and fitness blog fans…And as Mike said in a email to me, it would be interesting to put together a map with the actual locations of the blogs but probably not all that practical and would take a lot of time contact people and finding where they are….
Wow! I really appreciate the map! Thanks!
