And don’t forget it’s ‘every day a giveaway’ this month at Healthbolt.

I’m averaging 2-1/2 miles a day of deliberate exercise. If non-deliberate steps count too, I’d say it’s about 5 miles a day of stepping out. Or forward. Whatever.
We had a contest at work (all of the bank branches were involved) of which team could step the most in 6 weeks. My team ended up in third place. I was SO proud of us. Since then my pedometer has taken too many beatings and doesn’t count anymore. Bummer! I’m definitely in need of a new one!
I run each day and walk almost everywhere. I’d love to know how many steps I take b/c my feet are sore and tired at the end of each day–I didn’t get to win the stuff for sore feet, so hopefully the random number thing will help me count my steps
I am averaging around 8500 steps and hoping to move up to 10,000 for next month. The steps I am able to walk each day complement 3x a week swimming a mile.
That’s a great idea. For a lot of people just adding in some non-deliberate exercise would make a world of difference. Park your car 800 meters from your work and there is an extra mile of walking a day for example.
I try to only do one 3-step program per day.
Oh…
12,374?
i have absolutely NO idea how many steps i take (but that’s because i don’t own a pedometer >.<) but with all the walking around i do, i’d guess i’m around 7500 steps a day??
I have no clue – I hope around 10,000?
I know that 3 days a week, I do 2 miles on machines at the gym. I have no ideas how many steps I take! I would love to know!
No idea how many steps I might take… I’d guess at 7500, but who knows?
I do try to walk a mile at least three days a week. A pedometer would be fun!
I’ve been walking on my mom’s treadmill for the last week and it has a 10,000 step program on it, but I’ve only been walking about 3,000 on it, but with everywhere else I walk, I’m not sure what it comes too! I would love to have this, so I can keep up with it when I walk at the park or down the street or wherever!
I’d guess 12,000 (I walk 5 miles for exercise) – but I’d love to know FOR SURE with the pedometer!
Wow! I haven’t thought about this question enough! I would bet that I need to take more steps per day! I will estimate that I take around 5,102 steps a day. Great giveaway prize! Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks, Cindi
I’m going to guess around 8,000, unless I’m out shopping, then it’s about 12,000
Well, I walk about 3 miles a day (Monday – Friday) and walk about everywhere else too, so I’m guessing I take about 18000-19000 steps a day
It would be different everyday, but I would say maybe 8,000 on an average.
I probably do about 11,000 steps a day, but I’d like to be sure. I bought a cheapo pedometer which promptly broke, so it’s hard to say.
I lost my old pedometer awhile back so it’s a mystery to me. Although I would love to know how many steps I make per day. I sure hope it’s at or over 10,000/a day. Especially since I am outside on my feet all day long, M-F.
I’d guess around 5,000 a day. I’d love to have a pedometer like this because it doesn’t have to be clipped to pants. With this device I can wear a dress (even one without pockets) and still be able to count my steps.
I don’t know how many steps– 2,000? 5,000? No clue! lol….. It’d be interesting to find out.
I alternate between a very sedentary job (domestic violence counselor) and very active (sheep farmer). Steps? I have no idea. I would like to think I get my 10,000. If I had the pedometer I would know!
I walk about 10,000 steps daily.

I have been trying to find a pedometer that actually works for a long time now. I like to track my steps at work and while walking around during the day. I really want to see if I am getting the recommended 10,000 steps a day or even exceeding that amount. The new year is coming which means new year’s resolutions! I would love to use this and work on my health goals.
I’d say about 3 miles if you exclude running/exercise, at least.
This would be great for either my husband or myself. Thanks for the giveaway!
I walk a lot for exercise and I”ve wanted a pedometer to add up all those other steps, too. I bought one once, but it wasn’t very good and I eventually gave up. I’m thinking your premium model might do the trick.
Thanks!
If I am running then I am getting in quite a few steps but if I take a complete day off then I am lucky if I get 5000 steps a day.
I’m guessing an abysmal 5,000? Sad, I know!
I think i walk 7000 but i am not sure.
2,500 maybe?!?
I average about 3000 but I’m trying to improve my count by getting up and talking to people rather then just shooting off an e-mail.
I wish I knew…I would guess about 3 miles on average, which is 6,000 steps. In the summer it would be more like 8,000 I think.
Well, I know I don’t get 10,000 per day, since I only manage to get on the treadmill a couple of days a week. And I have a somewhat sedentary job. So I’d say I get 4000 per day, average. I’m trying to boost that treadmill time, though!
I walk about 2 miles everyday, but would love to have more of an accurate count. Thanks for the give-away.
Oh please please please pick me! I know I average about 5K on days I don’t run. 10K when I do. And I know…I’m supposed to hit 10K every day. Damn that’s hard.
I average about 9000 steps each day. I would like to win this prize for my mom. She wants one, but does not want me to buy one for her and does not want to buy one herself. I am not sure where she is going with that line of thinking – maybe she wants me to give her mine?
I do a lot of running and walking and would love to see how that calculates
I’ve never had a pedometer before! I could only guess at how many steps I take. I have a computer job, so I don’t think it’s that many. I’ll say, a thousand?
Thanks for the great contest
I have to say, Ive had this pedometer, but it stopped working for me. I was up to 12000 steps, and am afrair if I go without a pedometer for too long, my steps will drastically drop. I really want to win this one! Its ironic that the pedometer is the exact one I was just using!
Eek, I know I am painfully shy of the minimum of 10,000. Almost afraid to know.
3 days a week, I estimate I take 8000-10000 steps. The other days maybe 2000??ea.
thanks
I believe I walk about 11,000 steps a day. I do work out for an hour on a treadmill. My pedometer broke and I am in the market for a new one. This one looks great!
I have a desk job and don’t get much walking in. I am hoping that I get at least 3000 steps a day. I have diabetes and need to kick things up so I can stay healthy for grandchildren some day! Would love to win and prove to my wife I can do it! Thanks
