Any runners out there?

Then you’re in the right place.

Healthbolt’s got a one month supply of the award winning Detour Runner Bar to giveaway.

Made from all natural ingredients, the Runner Bar contains whey protein and MicroLactin®, a naturally occurring anti-inflammatory derived from milk proteins that has been reported to improve joint health and function. Plus they come in three different flavors – peanut butter, lemon yogurt, and chocolate chip cookie.

Sound like what you or the runner in your life needs?

Want to try the Detour Runner bar?

All you have to do is leave a comment before 11th December 2008 on which flavor you’d choose and why to be in the draw.

This one, I’m afraid, is only open to US Residents.

The winner will be announced on 12th December and sent an email with the subject heading ‘Healthbolt Giveaway Winner’ with instructions on how to claim their prize.

And don’t forget it’s ‘everyday a giveaway’ this month at Healthbolt.

  1. Eli says:

I often run and workout with my friends; having these would be a nice snack thing before or after.

  2. A'Llyn says:

Hm…tough call. I love peanut butter, but I also love chocolate. (Lemon yogurt doesn’t sound that appealing, although I’d totally try it if someone handed me one.)

I’m going to have to say chocolate chip cookie. And I should be in the draw because I’m always looking for a snack after a workout!

  3. Kelly says:

It’s fate–I just got done running and was drinking a protein shake before my shower and I saw this offer. I love the peanut butter and the chocolate chip. I tried the lemon yogurt by accident (didn’t look–just grabbed it and paid) and I was pleasantly surprised.

  4. Jim says:

Chocolate chip — sounds like a nice way of spoiling yourself without spoiling your self.

  5. Nick says:

Chocolate chip. My throat gets dry when I run (even if I drink plenty of fluids.) The chocolate helps food slide down.

  6. thinnmann says:

Chocolate Peanut Butter because it has just the right balance of sweet and salt – and we runners are pretty nutty.

  7. Karin says:

lemon yogurt— I just think it sounds tasty and refreshing!

  8. Cindi says:

The peanut butter would be our family’s favorite flavor! I like the anti-inflammatory property of these bars. My two sons run and these bars would be very much appreciated…..Thanks, Cindi

  9. herblady says:

I’d pick chocolate chip. It’s probably a lot healthier than having the real choc chip cookie I would easily scarf instead!

  10. Angela says:

I think I’d go with chocolate chip. I love peanut butter, but a lot of times, health bars with peanut butter end up tasting.. funny. Chocolate almost never goes bad.

  11. ashley says:

Why should I win this? I’m training for my first half marathon! I can use all the help I can get!!

  12. Jess says:

Ohhh…I love to try new health bars. I’d try the peanut butter one, for some reason peanut butter tastes so good after a long run.

  13. tommy says:

lemon yogurt because at 5 in the a.m. one needs a pick-me-up please

  14. Emily says:

Oooh, mmm, peanut butter for sure. I luuurve peanut butter so much. I can’t eat it right away after a run, coz it is too heavy and I’m afraid I’d heave, but I would definitely enjoy a peanut butter flavoured post-workout bar!

  15. Sue says:

Lemon Yogurt – as my energy bar consumption tends to spike in the warmer months!

  16. asithi says:

I would like chocolate peanut butter. I am hoping it would taste like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup (one of my favorite candy).

  17. Brooke says:

Oh yum…. the lemon yogurt ones looks scrumptious!

  18. Brandon says:

Chocolate Peanut Butter please! I need these bars because I’m training for my first marathon and I need all the help I can get.

  19. Amelia says:

Chocolate Peanut Butter no question. PB stuff always tastes good to me, while plain chocolate can taste chemically if not done right.

  20. Daisy Melo says:

give me something with peanut butter and i am a happy runner

  21. Jay B says:

Lemon Yogurt bar during my distance runs would hit the spot! Its all about carbs, protein, and a natural Anti inflammatory in a one-stop shop package!

  22. Mubina says:

I would love to try the Peanut Butter Chocolate bars, (or even the Chocolate Cookie …okay okay even the lemon ones!) since they sound too good. (or even the Chocolate Cookie …okay okay even the lemon ones!)
I have to rush around a lot and getting something like this to eat would help keep my sugar levels stable. (No more mad dashes to the drugstore for a candy bar!)

I just started training for a half-marathon in May. I think the Peanut Butter Chocolate bars would be a good energy boost

  24. Betsy says:

  41. danielle says:

I was a toss up between the chocolate and pb but I think I would go with the chocolate. I like that the bar is all natural.

  42. cathleen n. says:

Chocolate Peanut Butter is my favorite food combination hands down! Reminds me of the old Reeses Peanut Butter cup commercial when the chef asks aloud, “Chocolate and peanut butter, or chocolate and snails?” To which the kid overhearing this says, “Chocolate and peanut butter.” Ah! The visionary! Too bad the shortsighted chef went for chocolate and snails :)
