Healthbolt Giveaway: Win a Core Rhythms Starter Pack Dance Exercise Program

This looks like just the thing to help you keep fit during the holiday season. Or perhaps after Christmas and New Years, once all the partying and eating have slowed down.

                       core_rythyms_healthbolt

The Core Rhythms Starter Pack Dance Exercise Program is a set of four DVDs designed to speed-shrink the waistline, burn away fat, and tone the abs without doing floor crunches or purchasing expensive equipment.  Through interactive instruction, Core Rhythms teaches three core movements essential to Latin dancing, and then expands them with step-by-step invigorating dance instruction in the Salsa, Samba and Merengue.  The starter pack includes A Full Workout; Quick Workout; Latin Dance Made Easy; and Kick Start DVDs, as well as a free seven-day Diet Guide with menu plans to help you slim down while you are toning up.

Designed by world champion Latin ballroom dancers Jaana Kunitz and Julia Powers with over 17 years of dance and fitness expertise, the innovative DVD fitness concept has been proven to deliver results and boost self-esteem in a short amount of time.

Haven’t tried it myself, but it looks pretty good. Fusing hypnotic Latin rhythms and movement in a dynamic workout system, it sounds like it could deliver a healthy workout.

So, do you want to give it a try?

One lucky Healthbolt reader will be getting this in their mailbox just before Christmas.

All you have to do is leave comment by December 9th 2008 on why you think this should be yours and you’re in to win…

Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to those with a US or Canadian mailing address.

The winner will be announced on 10th December and sent an email with the subject heading ‘Healthbolt Giveaway Winner’ with instructions on how to claim their prize.

  1. Two years ago I lost 45 pounds, but lately have put 10 back on. I have kinda lost interest in exercising. I think a change in routine may help!

  2. Angie says:

I think this should be mine because I need more in-home workouts to change up my exercise. I had lost over 80 lbs and gained quite a bit back but I’m still pushing forward and this would bring more variety into my workouts. Thanks!

  3. caroline says:

This should be mine because I know my abs will never look like the ones on the box, but they will definitely look better than the hot flabby mess they are now.

I really need this! I have tried lots of things to lose weight. I am 45 and my metabolism is non-existant. Now I am pre-diabetic and my doctor wants me to lose at least 25 pounds. Diabetes runs in my family. I need a workout that I can do in a small amount of time and that will keep me motivated! Thanks for the chance to win!

I need this because I have been carrying around the weight of my four children plus for many years and its getting harder to get off. Also, my teenage daughter is over weight. This would be a fun workout to do with her. I don’t want her to start out her adult life with extra weight when we have a family history of packing on the pounds during childbearing years. Help me show her a healthier way to live.

  18. Samantha Pruitt says:

i want this because i’m getting tired of turbo jam!

  19. sandy whittemore says:

I believe that I need to win this workout because I wanted to buy one, but due to physical disabilities I am in a financial bind (lost work due to illness. I have my doctors permission, and encouragement, to get on an exersise program, but I am at a point where everything looks too hard. I had open heart surgery 3 years ao and that took me from a size 8 to a 16. Then 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with Lupus and put on prednisone, which took me to a size 18-20. I am visually impaired from botched Lasik surgery. My self esteem and energy levels are at an all time low, I don’t want to go out anymore, I am afraid of people seeing the fat, ugly me and want them to remember the old me, and am seeings signs of agoraphobia creeping into my life. I don’t even want to look in a mirror anymore, I feel fat and ugly, and scarred from the surgery and the lesions from the Lupus. I feel this program might actually give me the motivation to keep on. I loved to dance (used to be a go-go dancer in my youth) and watch all the dance shows and dream about what it must be like to be able to move like that. I have trouble getting up the motivation to walk a block right now. I gained a lot of weight as a teenager, from 115 lbs on a 5′8″ frame to 235 lbs when I had my first child at 17. I have been fighting weight my whole life and had fought a long and hard battle (30 years) to get to a size 8. It killed me to watch all the weight coming back and the doctors can’t take me off the drugs. My dream was to get on to one of those makeover shows, but I realize that that is not going to happen, I need to do this myself. Can you please help me try to make the first step to make life worth living again and reagain my sense of self. Body image is so important. If you feel good about the outside, it radiates wellbeing to the inside. I truly believe that by making the effort to fix what I can, the other challanges in my life will be easier to deal with.

  20. katelin says:

oo i’d love to get awesome abs like that!

  21. Michelle says:

I’d love this because i need to change up my workouts!

  22. melissa says:

I need to get ready for my trip to hawaii!!!

  23. SarahC says:

I’ve been eying this for a while. Even if I have two left feet, I can make them both dance for me.

  24. mcheek says:

I’m 47 years old and never been interested in working out until I saw Meryl Streep in Mama Mia. If she can look like that at 59, I’d better get busy. I’ve let myself go but believe I would stick to music and dance. I owe this to my husband, by grandkids and me!
