It’s April Fool’s Day: Did You Get Anyone?!?

With April Fool’s Day coming to a close, I’m dying to know if you “got” anyone today. Did you deliver the ultimate prank (Hey honey, I guess that vasectomy didn’t work so well after all), or did you just lightly yank someone’s chain (Damn! There’s no coffee left. Oh, I guess there is. April Fools!)?
Today, we fooled the kids into looking for a rare pink bunny in the yard. They returned the prankish favor by pretending to drop the hamster down the stairs. Funny.
Oddly enough, research shows that pranks can actually be good for us socially, assuming we keep our fooling above-board (and legal). In fact, many groups such as police officers, firefighters and the likes often have “initiation” pranks, which are both a rite of passage for the prankee and a sign that they are worthy of being accepted into that social group.
Pranks are also good for a healthy dose of self-reflection and problem-solving, i.e. “How could I have acted differently to avoid that humiliation” or “Next time I take a whizz, I am sooo going to make sure there’s no cellophane across the bowl first”.
So see, all that trickstering you did today (or had done to you) was actually a good thing.
Okay, time to fess up: Did you pull a good one on anybody today? Or were you the victim of a good April Fool’s Day joke? Remember, laughing’s good for our souls and our health too, so if you have a great story, please share.

I’ll put my hand up. I believe I might have got a few psychology lectures in the UK a little worried with this:

Well worth it to watch the comments coming in
One of my close friends managed to convince me they were moving back home to South Africa.
Be-hatch.
Seeing as no one has offered to send me huge amounts of money, I’d say no… didn’t get anybody
